This is a highly detailed collectible vinyl figure from Medicom Toy's 'Art Toy' series, featuring legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki in stylized caricature form holding his iconic character Totoro. The figure showcases Miyazaki in a light gray suit with black dress shoes, white shirt, and signature black-rimmed glasses and beard—faithfully capturing his public persona. Totoro is rendered in its classic gray-and-white design with expressive eyes and belly markings. The piece comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity (1/200), indicating limited edition status, and a premium matte-gray presentation box featuring the Japanese title 'となりのトトロ' (Grave of the Fireflies is not involved; this is My Neighbor Totoro) and a circular Totoro logo. Crafted with smooth PVC/vinyl finish, it serves as both a tribute to Ghibli’s legacy and a statement art object for collectors. Ideal for display on shelves, desks, or curated pop culture collections. Not a wearable item—strictly a decorative collectible figure.
