This iconic floor rug features Takashi Murakami’s signature 'Flower' motif—vibrant yellow petals encircling a smiling white face with distinctive red and blue eyes, all set against a bold black scalloped border. Designed in collaboration with Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd., the piece embodies Murakami’s Superflat aesthetic, merging pop art, anime influence, and contemporary design. Crafted for high-traffic residential use, it offers soft pile comfort underfoot while serving as a striking statement centerpiece in living rooms, bedrooms, or studios. The non-slip backing ensures stability on hardwood floors (as shown), and its durable synthetic fiber resists fading and wear. Ideal for fans of contemporary art, streetwear culture, and Japanese pop surrealism, this rug transforms any space into a playful, gallery-worthy environment. Perfect for daily casual settings, creative workspaces, or curated interiors seeking bold visual impact. Seasonally versatile, it complements spring/summer decor with its cheerful palette but remains stylish year-round.
