This Carhartt Work In Progress t-shirt features a distinctive vintage-inspired scientific illustration of six labeled fish species—including Custodia Pilleus, Volare Bracae, and Piscis Carharttis—arranged in a taxonomic grid on the back. Below the aquatic artwork, the iconic 'CARHARTT WORK IN PROGRESS ©1989' text is printed in crisp white serif font, referencing the brand’s heritage and its European offshoot launched in 1994 (though the ©1989 denotes Carhartt’s original founding year). Crafted from premium heavyweight cotton jersey, the tee offers relaxed fit, durability, and soft hand-feel ideal for daily wear. The black base enhances the colorful, detailed fish graphics, creating strong visual contrast and streetwear appeal. Perfect for casual outings, layering, or as a statement piece in minimalist or workwear-influenced outfits. Its blend of Americana utility roots and European design sensibility makes it a collector’s favorite among heritage streetwear enthusiasts.
